The addiction became more serious without me even realising it, as I was thinking I was just ‘hustling’ to get equipment to start publishing my quotes that I had been writing for many years. It was in March 2025, a week after I had joined the prayer, when I realised that I no longer had desire to place bets or to watch football in order to gamble. And in May, my mother gave me money to buy what I needed to start publishing my quotes - without even asking her. By God’s grace, today, I can have enough money in my pockets to meet my needs. Before the prayer, I was living from hand to mouth – even though I was selling fish and making enough money to change my life.
