CAF has withdrawn Kenya’s hosting rights for Group D of CHAN 2024 due to inadequate training facilities. Kenya had committed to providing six training grounds and an additional pitch for referees. However, only the Ulinzi Sports Complex, Kenya Police Sacco grounds, and two pitches at Kasarani were completed or nearing completion. As a result, Group D matches involving Senegal, Congo, Sudan, and Nigeria have been relocated to Zanzibar.
