God invites you to walk in his path through Faith. The devil invites you to walk in his path through fear. Your Faith will give you what you believe. Fear brings to life what you are afraid of. What you fear will come upon you. What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. —Job 3 : 25 Fear has power to handcuff you. Fear has power to kill you. Fear has power to limit you. Fear has power to change your focus. Fear no longer stays a feeling if you live with it day after day; it becomes a state of being. In that state of fear satan will be your boss. You will be spiritually weak. You will be stressed about things you can't control. Fear will rule your life and disrupt your sleeping hours. Fear will shift your focus from the saving power of God to focus on your problems. Fear must be dealt with in it's earliest stages. If you entertain fear and harbour it, fear will ruin your whole life. It is normal to feel fear but when you entertain fear it becomes a problem. Remember our Lord Jesus Christ in the garden of Gethsemane. He felt afraid but was not afraid —He fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me." —Matthew 26 : 39 The Holy Spirit gave Him strength and He knew that it was the will of God that had to be done. He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done." —Matthew 26 : 42 Do not be afraid, we have a helper the Holy Spirit to help us in times of fear.
