‎ *Uganda Names Star-Studded Marathon Team for 2025 Tokyo Worlds* ‎ ‎The Uganda Athletics Federation has announced a strong marathon team to represent the country at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. ‎ ‎ ‎Team Uganda 🇺🇬: ‎ ‎• *Men (marathon):* ‎Jacob Kiplimo, Joshua Cheptegei, Victor Kiplangat (Defending champion), Stephen Kissa. ‎ ‎• *Reserves:* Solomon Mutai, Andrew Rotich Kwemoi & Victor Kwemboi. ‎ ‎• *Women (marathon):* ‎Stella Chesang, Juliet Chekwel & Mercyline Chelangat ‎ ‎The World Athletics Championships will be held in Tokyo from 13-21 September 2025. More than 2000 athletes from some 200 countries will take part in one of the world's biggest sporting events. ‎
