Job Advertisement - Syria Organization or Agency: International Organization for Migration (IOM) Sub-contractor: Stars Orbit Consultants and Management Development and its local partner in Syria, Hypatia Development & Consultancy LLC Position: Enumerator G1 (449 Positions) Duty Station: Multiple duty stations - Syria Duration: 6 months renewable Reference Code: IOM/SY/002 Closing Date: 21 - June - 2025 Duty Stations: Aleppo: 85 Al-Hasakeh: 51 Ar-Raqqa: 40 As-Sweida: 8 Damascus: 20 Dar'a: 16 Deir-ez-Zor: 27 Hama: 32 Homs: 33 Idleb: 50 Lattakia: 30 Quneitra: 5 Rural Damascus: 25 Tartous: 27 Position Duties and Responsibilities: - Support the data collection for the DTM. - Ensure accurate knowledge of all the locations under the area of responsibility, which he/she will cover within the geographical scope of work. - Visit communities and gather accurate information on population, displacement, return, needs and gaps in these communities on monthly basis. - Develop monthly plans to cover all the locations/sites that are expected to be covered within the geographical scope of work in coordination with the Team Leader of the governorate. - Understand the purpose of all surveys or assessments forms after receiving training on the tools and methodologies. - Inform the Team Leader about any changes or emergency situations that may affect the population movements in the areas he/she covers. - Investigate and identify various sources of data in order to obtain reliable information and data by interviewing multiple sources key informants to reach the most accurate information or result. - Collect information on humanitarian needs and assistance through close coordination with the key informants and affected community leaders. - Send the filled survey or assessment forms to the Team Leader and make sure of their timely arrival. - Follow up any feedback made by the Team Leader on the filled forms and re-visit the location if needed to verify the data/information. - Follow the guidelines and instructions made by the Team Leader, in particular, those related to the security circumstances. - Conduct Monitoring activities, such as Third-Party Monitoring, Post-Distribution Monitoring, etc. - Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
