FIFA is open to the option of re-appointing the United States as the host of the Club World Cup for the 2029 edition.
In addition, FIFA will also discuss the option of increasing the number of participants in the Club World Cup to 48 teams after being lobbied by European clubs who are worried about losing financial benefits.
FYI for this edition, FIFA limits each country to only being allowed to send 2 representatives to the CWC.
