Transworld Group recently organized a free eye check-up camp for labour workers in Dubai, in collaboration with Aloka Eye Care and SmartLife Foundation and 5 amazing volunteers. 100 workers were screened of which 60 were found to have a need for prescription glasses, that were provided to them free of cost. This small intervention can help improve not just vision, but also potentially increase productivity by 22% (VisionSpring). To make the day a bit special for the workers, we had a fun lucky draw with giveaways to spread a few extra smiles!
