Hurricane Erick made landfall on Mexico's southern Pacific coast on June 19 as a powerful Category 3, leaving behind a trail of damage across most parts of Oaxaca state. The hurricane has since weakened into a tropical storm, but authorities warn of dangerous rains as it moves inland.
