A Small Wooden Painted Stela that belongs to a person called “Aafenmut” which is identified on the stela as a Scribe of the Treasury. The Stela Represents Aafenmut wearing a festival dress and Collar and a Wig and Bracelets in his hands and he is Offering Incesnse to a Seated Falcon Headed God in a Mummy form which in God Rahorakhety. I’m front of Aafenmut there’s a table with offerings on them which has Lotus Flowers, duck, fruits and Bread. The Stela is topped with a Solar Barque and has Hieroglyphic Texts who it translation goes: “RaHorakhty, the Great God, Lord of the Sky, may he give offerings to Osiris, to the scribe of the treasury, Aafenmut, True of Voice.” Dates back to the reign of Osorkon I, 22nd Dynasty, The Third Intermediate Period (924-889 BC). Discovered in Tomb (H 3) in Thebes, Egypt which is the Burial of Aafenmut by The Metropolitan Museum Excavations in 1914 till 1915. Displayed in The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, United States. #met
