The well preserved mummy of King Seti I. The Mummy of Seti I was Originally Buried in his tomb (KV 17) in the Valley of the Kings in Thebes, Egypt which is considered one of the best decorated tombs in the valley. When the mummy was discovered it was unwrapped and Examined it was resulted that the mummy very well preserved and it had high quality of Mummification process. The Mummy suffers damages in the arm and chest which was probably caused by the tomb robbers. Discovered in a tomb (DB 320) along with other royal Mummies in Deir El-Bahari in Thebes, Egypt by the French Egyptologist Émile Brugsch in 1881. Dates back to the 19th Dynasty, The New Kingdom Period (1290-1279 BC). Displayed in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo, Egypt.
