Important Advice in Light of Current Events Sulayman Ar Ruhaylī ‎حفظه الله said: O Muslim man and woman, in light of the current events, know that your ruler is a shield, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said. He is a protection against mistakes during times like these, so adhere to his guidance, avoid hastily taking positions, and beware of emotional reactions. These events have men appointed under the banner of your ruler who are more knowledgeable about them and what should be done in response. Remain steadfast in supplicating for your country and for all Muslim lands — that Allāh protect and preserve them and keep them under His care. And increase in supplication for your ruler.
