According to @drruwende, prostate cancer is the most common cause of cancer and cancer-related deaths among men in Zimbabwe. We have witnessed the pain this disease can inflict.
The solution? Regular screening, especially for those over 40. Unfortunately, screening isn’t free like it is for breast and ovarian cancer, likely due to a lack of campaigning and awareness.
The cost for screening ranges from US$20 to US$50. It's recommended to get screened at least every 2 years, but if there’s a family history of cancer, consider screening more often.
