The federal government has proposed a 21% increase in the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) budget for FY 2025-26, raising it to Rs716 billion. The Kafalat Programme will now support 10 million households, and the Educational Stipends Programme will assist 12 million children, expanding social protection and financial aid across Pakistan.
