Fellow NRM leaders, supporters, friends, and the great people of Lira City East, Good day. I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and purpose. I am honoured to have been officially nominated to run in the upcoming NRM party primaries as a candidate for Member of Parliament for Lira City East Constituency. I wish to thank the Electoral Commission of the National Resistance Movement for conducting a transparent and organized nomination process. I thank my family, my campaign team, and every supporter who has stood by me, encouraged me, and prayed with me on this journey. This nomination is not just about one individual. It is a testament to the growing desire for transformative leadership in our community. It is a declaration that we, the people of Lira City East, are ready to advance development, restore integrity in leadership, and deliver services that improve the lives of every household. I am running in these NRM primaries with a clear mission: • To build a constituency where farmers can grow, store, and profit from their produce through the Dero Grains initiative; • To bring quality healthcare closer to our people through mobile medical services; • To empower women and youth with real economic opportunities, using proven strategies like Musevenomics; • To improve roads, clean water access, and education across every ward and village of Lira City East. I commit to a peaceful, respectful, and people-centered campaign. I believe that our politics must be grounded in values, vision, and verifiable action.
