*Both GES and WAEC officially recognize only 4 schools originally established and designated with the "SCHOOL" name and you can confirm from your WASSCE certificate.*
They are:
1. Mawuli School
2. Mfantsipim School
3. Achimota School
4. St John's School
*NB: Owass unofficially started using the name Opoku Ware School instead of their original Opoku Ware Secondary School in 2002, which both WAEC and GES are yet to accept their self-imposed unofficial name change*
