*JANNAT KI HOOR* *(Read till the end)* Holy Quran: *In mein (Jannat mein) paak-daaman, ghair ki taraf aa'nkh uthha kar na dekhne waali Hoorein hongi jinko kisi Jinn aur Insan ne na chhu'aa hoga.* (Surah Rahman, Ayat 56) Commentary: *Kyun ki Jannat mein sabse badi Ne'mat jismani Hoorein hain, is liye Quran e Majeed mein unka zikr bhi zyada hai. Inko is naam se yaad karne ki illat aur wajah ye hai Hoor ka maani (meaning) hai gore rang waali aur Ein ka maani hai kushada aur syaah chashm (badi kaali aa'nkh), kyun ki unki aa'nkh ki syaahi nihaayat syaah aur sufaidi nihaayat sufaid hai, jaise ke Surah Waqi'ah Ayat 22, 23 mein zikr hai.* *(For deriving physical pleasures in paradise, Allah has created the ‘Hourul Een’ for the believers. They have been given this name because ‘Hoor’ means ‘bright color and ‘Een’ means ‘expanse and dark-eyed, for their eyes will be quite dark, and their skin pure white. [As is mentioned in Surah Waqi'ah, Ayat 22, 23])* (Manaazil e Akhirah - Shaikh Abbas Qummi - p213; English Translation Manazil Al-Akhira, p118) Imam Baqir (as): *Jab Ahle Jannat Jannat mein daakhil honge to Allah Rabbul Izzat Ali (as) ko bheje ga aur aap unhe unke gharo'n mein thehraayenge aur Hooro'n se unki shaadi karenge. Khuda ki qasam, Ali (as) hi Ahle Jannat ki Jannat mein shaadi karenge. Allah Ta'ala Ali (as) ki izzat o azmat ke izhaar ke liye ye kaam unke supurd karega.* (Tafseer Noor us Saqlain, v7, p580) Rasule Khuda (saww): *Agar Jannati aurat taarik shab (dark night) mein dunya ki taraf jhaa'nk le to chaand ki raushni se baddh-kar dunya munawwar ho jayegi, aur Jannati ka ek kapda aasman o zameen ke darmiyaan zaahir ho to poori dunya waale uske Noor ki taab na laa sakenge aur madhosh ho jayenge.* (Tafeer e Anwaar ul Najaf, v13, p201) Rasule Khuda (saww) *Behisht (Jannat) mein Noor paida hoga aur Behishti (Jannati) kahenge ke ye Noor kaisa hai? Kaha jayega ke ye Noor Hoor ke daa'nto'n ka hai jo apne shauhar ke rubaru ha'nsi hai.* *(A light will shine forth in paradise and people will wonder as to what it is. It would be said to them that the light was being emitted from the teeth of a hourie laughing seated in front of her husband.)* (Manaazil e Akhirah - Shaikh Abbas Qummi - p214; English Translation Manazil Al-Akhira, p118) Rasule Khuda (saww) *ne Surah Saff Ayat 12 mein 'Masaakina Tayyibatan' ki tafseer mein farmaya, "Jannat mein motiyo'n se bana huwa ek mahal hai, jisme 70 ghar surkh yaqoot ke hain aur har ghar mein 70 kamre sabz zamrood ke aur har kamre mein 70 takht hain aur har takht par rangarang ke 70 farsh aur har farsh par ek Hoor ul Ein baithi hai aur har kamre mein 70 dastarkhwan hain aur har dastarkhwan par 70 qism ka khana hai aur har kamre mein ek gulam aur kaneez hai. Khuda Momin ko is qadar taaqat dega ke sab aurato'n se khalwat kare [tamaam Hooro'n se lazzat haasil kare] aur sab khaane khane ki quwwat dega. Ye Akherat mein badi Ne'mat hai.* *(Regarding the interpretation of the “Goodly dwelling” [Surah Saff Ayat 12] it is related from the Holy Prophet (s) that there is a palace in paradise made of pearls, which has seventy houses of red rubies (Yaqoot). And in every house are seventy rooms of green emeralds (zamarood).
