*Security Alert – Kayole, Nairobi* A gang in Kayole is luring boda boda riders through fake ride requests (often via Bolt), then ambushing them in the secluded “Log” area. Victims are robbed of phones, cash, and motorcycles, sometimes with the threat or use of weapons including knives, crowbars, and pistols. Police have reported four robberies between May and June 2025. Two suspects, Peter Ngala and Befley Mokeira, were arrested with a stolen phone. Investigators are analyzing 11 phone numbers and M-Pesa records tied to the crimes. *General Advisory:* Boda boda riders should avoid accepting ride requests into isolated areas, especially at night. Always verify customer identity and report any suspicious booking immediately. Use in-app safety features and inform fellow riders of suspicious hotspots. Report robberies or threats immediately to nearby police stations. *For real-time security updates, Join SGA SECURITY WhatsApp Updates Channel:* https://rb.gy/er9tn9
