*Court Dismisses Cybercrime Charges Against Activist Rose Njeri* A Nairobi court has dismissed the cybercrime case against digital activist and software engineer Rose Njeri due to a defective charge sheet. The court ruled that the charges alleging “unauthorised interference” with Parliament’s email system, were vague, unconstitutional, and lacked clarity on the alleged offense. Notable legal figures including former Chief Justice David Maraga and senior counsel Kalonzo Musyoka argued that Njeri’s actions fell within her constitutional right to public participation Njeri had created a platform enabling Kenyans to voice opposition to the Finance Bill 2025.
