*🗓️ 11th Dhul-Hijjah | Yawm al-Qarr* It is among the greatest days in the sight of Allah, and it comes immediately after the Day of Sacrifice — the 11th of Dhul-Hijjah and the first of the Days of Tashrīq. It is called Yawm al-Qarr because the ḥujjāj (pilgrims) remain in Mina after completing Tawaf al-Ifadah and the sacrifice, to rest, remember Allah, and continue stoning the Jamrah (Ramy al-Jamarat). On this day, the sacred rites of Allah are greatly honored, and it is recommended to increase in Takbir, Talbiyah, dhikr, du‘ā’, and gratitude for Allah’s blessings. The Prophet ﷺ said: The most virtuous of days in the sight of Allah are the Day of Sacrifice (يوم النحر), then the Day of al-Qarr (يوم القر). *— Abdullah Al Gaffari*
