We seek a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our dynamic research group at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences, CZU, Prague. Field of Research: Molecular underpinnings of Pest and pathogen interaction with Trees Key Requirements and Responsibilities: ·        Strong background in molecular biology with a focus on insect and/or plant (Tree) systems ·        Ph.D. in plant or insect molecular biology with an excellent publication track record ·        Self-motivated and curiosity-driven ·        Proven expertise in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis and interpretation ·        Demonstrated experience in molecular laboratory techniques (e.g., nucleic acid extraction, PCR, cloning, RT-qPCR, protein expression studies, enzyme assay, RNAi etc.) ·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team ·        Publish research findings and presentations at national/international meetings ·        Mentor junior lab members ·        Prior postdoc experience is not required ·        Candidates below 30 will be preferred.
