Austria has declared three days of national mourning after a deadly school shooting in Graz left 10 people dead, including seven students, a teacher, and the suspected gunman, police confirmed.
The attack occurred around 10 a.m. Tuesday at a school on Dreierschutzengasse, prompting a swift evacuation. Students were taken to nearby Helmut-List-Halle for support from emergency psychologists and Red Cross teams.
Twelve others were injured, several critically. A major police operation, including elite Cobra units, secured the area by noon.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the motive behind the tragedy.
