Panjshir province is witnessing significant infrastructure growth, with more than 120 development projects currently underway, according to the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department. Funded by the World Bank and valued at 300 million Afghanis, these projects are being carried out in the provincial capital as well as seven surrounding districts. The ongoing initiatives include the construction of retaining walls, water supply networks, irrigation canals, rural roads, and gabion structures, aimed at improving public services and boosting local resilience.
