In the latest bidding round for Panjshir emeralds, a total of 4,776 carats were sold for approximately $468,600, reflecting growing interest in the province's gemstone industry.
During the session, Panjshir Governor Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim stated that since the Islamic Emirate regained control, systematic and regulated mining operations have resumed in the province. He added that, in addition to local traders, numerous foreign investors have expressed strong interest in investing in Panjshir’s valuable gemstone sector.
