Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Albert Alsas, Chargé d’Affaires of Norway to Afghanistan, to discuss bilateral and regional issues. During the meeting, Mr. Alsas announced that a Norwegian delegation will soon visit Afghanistan to assess and enhance bilateral relations in coordination with the Afghan government. Mawlawi Muttaqi welcomed Norway’s diplomatic engagement and described the recognition of Islamic Emirate diplomats by Norway as a positive step toward building mutual trust and strengthening diplomatic ties.
