In sales, before you pitch — peep the jersey! If they’re rocking a Man United kit, start with “Haaa sorry about last night’s loss” . Building rapport is about connecting before converting. Don’t just jump into “Let me tell you about our product…” — warm up the room first! People buy from people they like. And in Africa, we love good banter before business.
