For too long, communities across the Southwest have faced banditry, kidnapping, and violent attacks, while federal security forces are overstretched, under-equipped, or slow to respond. Amotekun was created by the people, for the people, to protect lives, land, and livelihoods. But without legal empowerment and constitutional backing, its hands are tied. Here's the truth: ✅ Security is local. ✅ States know their terrain, their threats, and their people. ✅ Centralized policing is outdated and overwhelmed.
