Afternoon all I hope you've all had an enjoyable weekend, what with the glorious weather we've had. I've had a look at the crimes from the weekend, and apart from the shoplifting incident that I mentioned then, there was another theft of a bank card from an elderly gentleman on The Green. He was using the bank card to pay for a parking ticket, so once again, be mindful of your surroundings when paying at parking meters. The description given is a black male, approximately 25 years old, 6 foot 2 tall, slim build, wearing a white cap, white top and blue jeans. Just FYI, it is the Year 11 exams this Thursday so there may be an increase in footfall on the Borough. There will be an increase in police presence for three days from Thursday until Saturday 21st.
