The African and Caribbean Health Show - A fantastic multi agency event hosted at Barking Learning Centre for all the community to enjoy. There were conversations on breaking stigmas and taboos around men's physical health and mental health as well as guest speakers who bravely shared their lived experiences. Dr John and his team offered 1-2-1 health checks and discussed critical topics like prostate cancer, cholesterol and Cardiovascular disease. There were numerous local charities and businesses who came together to support this event, offering free massages, hair and nail treatments as well as free advice re stopping smoking and life style choices.
