*Question:*
`What is the ruling on delaying in Makkah after performing the farewell ṭawāf?`
A questioner named Sabri from Abha asks:
Two years ago, a group of men and women performed ḥajj – alḥamdulillāh, the ḥajj was completed. The ṭawāf al-wadāʿ (farewell ṭawāf) was performed between 11 PM and 12 midnight, intending to leave for Jeddah the same night. However, one group left, and the others stayed behind until after Fajr. Is there any sin or blame on those who stayed behind, O noble Shaykh?
*Answer:*
_There is nothing upon them. Because such a delay does not harm; it is something light._
```If someone performs the farewell ṭawāf at night and leaves in the morning, or performs it at the end of the day and departs after ʿIshā’—all of this is fine.```
*A small delay like this is overlooked, in shā’ Allāh.*
Yes.
