🔸 Our lowly desires, along with the devils among mankind and jinn, constantly whisper to us—day and night—about worldly goals: the pursuit of wealth, possessions, food and drink, clothing, homes, restaurants, jobs, and how to obtain them. It’s as if there’s no other purpose in life except these things, as if we were created solely for this. Yet they neither created us nor understood the wisdom behind our creation. It is Allah who created us! And He did not create us for this. Allah said: “And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” (Qur’an 51:56) 🔸 And we have learned from our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that we were created only for these great and noble gains—gains whose goodness and benefits are eternal and everlasting. We benefit from them in this worldly life, we benefit from them at the time of death, and we continue to gain, succeed, and triumph in the grave, the Hereafter, the Barzakh, and on the Day of Resurrection.
