*GRADUATE TRAINEE MANUFACTURING DIVISION* Overall Job Purpose The position exists to assist with improved efficiencies in the commercial production of quality Gromix Plus , Gromix Ultra , Float trays, Trichoderma and Gnatbusters to achieve set targets. The incumbent will report to the Head of Manufacturing and should be a good team player, willing to work outside normal working hours and to travel outside of Harare. This is a two-year internship programme. 1. Job Description * Assists in improving production processes to increase efficiencies in the production of highquality GromixPlus and GromixUltra organic plant growth media, Float Trays, Trichoderma and gnatbuster for use by the growers, while keeping abreast with international best practices. * Assists with fostering collaborations at all sites to ensure improved production efficiencies and consistent production of high-quality and standardised products that exceed customer expectations. * Assists in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems to ensure adherence to production standards, improved efficiencies and quality products. * Co-ordinate regular equipment service, calibrations, and repair schedules for all sites * Carries out any other duties that may be allocated. 2. Qualifications, Experience, and Attributes * Minimum of a BSc in Manufacturing Engineering/Production Engineering/Operations management/ Agricultural engineering. * Minimum 1-year relevant working experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment. * Proficiency in production and manufacturing engineering/ agriculture engineering techniques with excellent record keeping. * Knowledge of QMS. * Excellent written and oral communication skills Self-motivated with proven interpersonal relationship skills. * Ability to work independently and with teams with minimum supervision. * Must be able to work under pressure 3.
