Hyderabad will soon be home to India’s largest tunnel-style aquarium, coming up at Nehru Zoological Park by 2026. This unique project will let visitors walk through a giant glass tunnel, while sharks, coral fish, and other sea animals swim right above your head – just like in an ocean! 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱: 𝗔 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 The state-of-the-art aquarium will be built at a cost of ₹50 crore over 4,000 square metres, in a public-private partnership (PPP) model. International experts from Singapore and Australia will work with Indian engineers to create a world-class marine experience. 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝘂𝗻 – 𝗔 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 This is not just a tourist spot. The aquarium will also be an educational centre for students and families. Different sections will show underwater life from rivers, lakes, and deep oceans. With the help of digital guides and AR (augmented reality), children and visitors can learn about sea animals and how to protect marine life.
