*𝗚𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗶: 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆* A new Aquaculture Business Incubator has been launched at Gauhati University, mentored by the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) under the MSME Ministry’s ASPIRE scheme. The incubator will train youth and farmers in fish seed production, aquafeed making, ornamental fish farming, and post-harvest techniques, promoting sustainable micro-enterprises across Assam and the Northeast. It’s supported by ICAR-CIBA, Lucknow, and features modern hatchery and feed units. Officials called it a big step towards self-employment, skill-building, and boosting Assam’s blue economy.
