The 27th Strategic Seminar on Thwarting Emerging Geopolitical and Technological Challenges was conducted at the Kasauli Club as a part of Kasauli Week. Distinguished speakers included Ambassador Ashok Kantha, former Indian envoy to China Vice Admiral Pradeep Chauhan, Chairman of the Maritime Foundation of India Ms. Rami Desai, a specialist on India’s Northeast and Eastern regions; and former Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Deepinder Hooda along with Lt Gen Anil Ahuja. They shared insightful and thought-provoking perspectives. The seminar concluded with an address by Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, PVSM, AVSM, Army Commander Western Command, who shared his experiences from Operation Sindoor. He underlined the imperative of maintaining constant vigilance and enhancing combat readiness, stressing that if red lines are breached, a far more severe response must be ensured.
