Watoto Watch Network last week convened the second and final collaborative in-person session with civil society stakeholders to review Kenya’s Draft Industry Guidelines for Child Online Protection and Safety—a pivotal consultation currently open for public participation through the Communications Authority. Held in partnership with Internews–KenSafeSpace, the session focused on amplifying civil society voices to shape a safer digital future for children in Kenya.We truly appreciate the commitment of all participating organizations. The recommendations are now ready for submission to the Communications Authority—one step closer to safer online spaces for every child in Kenya!.
