Aum Sri Sai Ram A Sacred Journey of Love: Sri Sathya Sai Prema Pravahini Rath Yatra Update SSSSO, West Bengal 1 On its 12th day, the Sri Sathya Sai Prema Pravahini began its divine journey from Bankura district and was ceremoniously handed over to Purulia district, where devotees—led by women—welcomed Swami with sanctified water, sandal paste, kumkum, holy rice, and the sacred flame of a diya. A grand procession led Swami to Kaliadah Samithi, featuring women blowing conch shells, Bal Vikas students with placards on human values, tribal women with holy kalasams, and Chhau dancers performing traditional moves. Around 6,000 devotees received Swami’s Divya Darshan and Pada Puja, followed by the distribution of Swami’s photo, vibhuti prasadam, and Maha Narayan Seva. The samithi convenor distributed 100 saplings in honor of Swami’s Centenary Celebrations. A powerful display of devotion was seen as some women approached Swami through repeated prostrations.
