Heavenly Father,
As we greet this blessed Friday morning, we lift our hearts to You in praise and thanksgiving. Just as Your Word in Psalm 68 declares that You arise and scatter our enemies, we trust that You will go before us today, breaking every chain and casting down every burden that threatens our joy and peace.
Lord, You carry the lonely on wings like eagles and shelter the fatherless and oppressed. We pray today for those who feel forgotten or overwhelmed: let Your presence draw near to them, bringing comfort, provision, and new strength. May the treasures of Your house be opened to supply their every need.
You command the earth to quake and mountains to melt at Your presence—remind us that no mountain in our lives is too great for You. As we step into this day, empower us by Your Spirit to walk in courage, to love with open hands, and to serve with humble hearts.
Prince of Peace, lead us also to be conduits of Your blessing: that we might carry the message of Your victory into our homes, our workplaces, and our communities. Let the fragrance of Christ shine through us, dispelling darkness and setting captives free.
Thank You, Lord, that we drink from Your river of delights and feast at Your table. May our Friday be filled with songs of deliverance and testimonies of Your faithfulness. We commit all we have and all we are into Your hands, trusting that as You went out before Israel of old, You go before us and remain with us always.
In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
🙏
