Gracious and Eternal God, As this new Thursday dawns, I come before You with a sincere heart, longing for the clarity and grace You promise in Your Word. Like Asaph in Psalm 73, I confess the moments when my heart has grown envious of those who seem to prosper in pride and selfishness; forgive me for allowing their ease to shake my trust in Your righteous plan. Yet when I entered Your sanctuary, my eyes were opened to the fleeting nature of earthly success and the unchanging strength of Your presence. Lord, remind me today that though the wicked may flourish for a season, true security is found only in You. Anchor my soul in the knowledge that You are my refuge and portion forever. Grant me the wisdom to view life through the lens of eternity, that I may not be swayed by passing shadows but stand firm upon the rock of Your steadfast love. Fill me this morning with renewed assurance: Your compassions are fresh each day, and Your promises never fail. May I walk through today’s challenges with a steadfast spirit, uplifted by the knowledge that Your guiding hand leads me into green pastures and beside still waters. Strengthen me to live in integrity, to speak with kindness, and to reflect Your glory in every encounter. Father, as I step into the opportunities and trials of this Thursday, let my heart remain fixed on You. Teach me to surrender my anxieties and to worship You with reverent trust. May my life today resonate with the truth of Psalm 73: “Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You.” In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
