NextGen Invent hiring Technical Lead (Python) Job Location: Remote Experience: 8+ Years Qualifications: B Tech / M Tech/ MCA or Higher Work Timings: 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST We are seeking an experienced and solution-oriented Technical Lead with strong expertise in Python and Django to lead the development of scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record in full-cycle software development and team leadership. This role involves hands-on coding, architectural planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver enterprise-grade solutions hosted on AWS/Azure. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code, adherence to best practices, and continuous technical growth. • Architect scalable and maintainable backend solutions using Python, Django, and microservices patterns. • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from design and development to testing and deployment ensuring timely delivery of robust applications. • Design and implement cloud-native applications and services in AWS or Azure environments. • Work closely with product managers, solution architects, analysts, and UI/UX teams to define system architecture and translate requirements into technical specifications. • Drive the adoption of modern development practices, tools, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance team efficiency. • Conduct peer reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications. • Collaborate with data teams to create APIs and data pipelines that support dashboards and large-scale data visualization. • Actively contribute to debugging and performance tuning, addressing complex challenges across the codebase. • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between technical execution and business goals. Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Python and Django. • Deep understanding of object-oriented and functional programming concepts. • Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices. • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. • Solid knowledge of relational (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases. • Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., ReactJS) is a plus. • Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills. • Strong analytical and debugging capabilities with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
