_Minister Chadzamira Attends Village Business Units Field Day in Chivi North_ *By Tafara Pande* Chivi - The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon. E.R. Chadzamira, recently officiated the Village Business Units Field Day at Denga Business Center in Ward 9, Chivi North Constituency. He was warmly welcomed by Hon. Godfrey Mukungunugwa, the Member of Parliament for Chivi North, Mr. Matingwina, the Chivi District Development Coordinator, and a host of senior ZANU PF officials. Among them were Hon. Makope from Mwenezi, DCC Masvingo DCC Women’s Affairs Cde Sheron Marombedze, and DCC Secretary for Security Cde Esau Mutanho, among others. Before the official proceedings, Minister Chadzamira visited the nearby Denga Dam, which was severely damaged by recent heavy rains. The dam, a crucial water source for over 660 plot holders across four wards, is vital for irrigation, livestock, and domestic use. Councillor Tagwirei, who also serves as a community mobilizer, emphasized the dam’s importance to local livelihoods. Minister Chadzamira assured the community that his office would send a team of engineers and technical experts to assess the damage and recommend a sustainable solution.
