For 88 breath-holding minutes it was a tactical arm-wrestle. Masvingo hogged possession with slick one-twos and sweeping overlaps, yet Hunters sat in twin trenches of defence, clearing cross after cross. Just when the Mashonaland East visitors seemed poised to pocket a valuable away point, attacking live-wire Adam Tende ghosted between centre-backs, latched onto a loose touch and side-footed ice-cool into the bottom corner.
