_Hon Sen Matuke Emphasizes Importance of Carrying Party Mandate_ 20 June 2025. *By Tafara Pande* Masvingo - Honourable Senator Lovemore Matuke, the Minister of State for National Security, delivered a powerful message during the ZANU PF Masvingo Province Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting, calling on all members to uphold the party's mandate and protect Zimbabwe’s hard-won independence. He reminded the gathering of the sacrifices made by liberation heroes, urging members to remain vigilant in defending the country’s sovereignty. Citing the recent Gutu East by-election victory, Hon Sen Matuke applauded the province for its unity and high voter turnout. He said the win reflects the party’s strength on the ground and encouraged members to maintain the same level of enthusiasm in their day-to-day mobilisation and leadership responsibilities. He further stressed the importance of self-evaluation, teamwork, and consistent communication to ensure the continued success of ZANU PF. Hon Matuke expressed gratitude to Cde RM Ndlovu for attending the PCC meeting, saying his visit adds valuable momentum to party structures in the province. In an emotional appeal, the Minister urged members to also reflect on the relationships and legacy of departed comrades. He encouraged the party to honour their memory through service and loyalty to the revolutionary cause.
