*He Would Cry So Much...* 'Umar Ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (raḍiyAllāh 'anhu) used to read in the Morning Prayer (fajr): إِنَّمَآ أَشۡكُواْ بَثِّي وَحُزۡنِيٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ "_I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allāh._" [Yūsuf (12): 86] In doing so he would cry so much that the people in the last row heard his sobbing.
