*What is Hajj?* Hajj is the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. It’s one of the five pillars of Islam—required once in a lifetime for those who are able. A sacred journey of worship, unity, and submission to God. *Why is it important?* It connects us to Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) by reliving the journey of sacrifice that led to the eventual construction of the Ka’bah, the first house of worship for Allah. Hajj is an act of worship and surrender to God.  *Where does Hajj take place?* In Mecca, Saudi Arabia • The Ka’bah • Safa & Marwa • Mina • Muzdalifah • Mount Arafah *What happens during Hajj?* Over 5 days, pilgrims: • Wear simple white clothes (Ihram) • Perform various rituals like circulating the Ka’bah (tawaf) and walking between hills of Safa & Marwa (sa’i) • Stand pouring their hearts in du’a at Mount Arafah • Sleep under the stars in Mina • And sacrifice an animal on Eid al-Adha *Who can go?* Hajj is only required if you: • Can afford it • Are healthy enough to travel • Are of sound mind It’s not meant to be a burden—but a gift. *What does Hajj mean to Muslims?* It’s a journey to Allah—with millions of others. A chance to be forgiven, renewed, and deeply connected. For many, it’s the most powerful experience of their life.
