Workshop Opportunity in Radio Astronomy – Star Formation: From Single-dish to VLBI The workshop titled “Star Formation: From Single-dish to VLBI” will be hosted from 6-10 October 2025 by the Centre for Space Research at North-West University, Potchefstroom. Students will gain hands-on experience in data reduction and analysis of data primarily from the Hartebeesthoek Radio Astronomy Observatory (HartRAO), with additional training on data reduction techniques for interferometric arrays such as MeerKAT, the VLA, and VLBI. This workshop opportunity is open to students from South Africa and the SKA African partner countries. However, emphasis will also be placed on supporting Ghanaian students, developing their skills to conduct research at the Kutunse radio telescope. Registration is now open and the deadline for submission of CV’s is on the 4th of July. There are only 30 spaces available.
