*Massive Protest Erupts at Government Medical College, Goa since morning of 9th June 2025* _Members of the IMA Council, HoDs, Consultants, Students, Residents and Interns held a Large-scale Protest at GMC Demanding:- Public apology from the Health Minister, Zero tolerance to VIP culture, Strict Rules And Action Against Those Recording Inside Sensitive Doctor-patient Zones_ _Around 3PM, Dr Rudresh Kuttikar to Reporters, says "I was completely humiliated, I demand a public apology in the same place where the incident happened within 24 hrs, If the health minister fails to make a public apology, there will be a stoppage of health services including emergency services at GMC."_ _Later in Evening around 4PM, In a candid interview with journalist *Aishwarya Paliwal on India Today* , the Health Minister apologised, addressing recent controversies that had sparked widespread concern. The Minister clarified that despite public speculation, *NO Suspension Was Ever In Process.*_ _Many doctors on social media have reacted strongly to what they see as a publicity stunt by the Health Minister, calling it a public humiliation. Therefore, the apology should be just as public. A mere note on paper, podcast, roadshow, or media interview won’t suffice. If not, the shameless arrogance and ignorance on display should compel him to resign and serve humanity in whatever way he sees fit._
