𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗 The Secretary General of the Lesotho Football Association, Mr. Mokhosi Mohapi, has been identified by some football constituencies in the country as a potential candidate for the presidency of the Association in the upcoming elective congress. However, in an interview with Lesotho Soccersector, Mr. Mohapi dismissed these claims, stating that this is the first time he has heard of such speculation since similar rumours emerged during last year’s national executive committee campaign. He firmly stated that he has no intention of contesting the election and expressed surprise that certain constituencies hold this view. It remains unclear whether the incumbent president of the Lesotho Football Association, Adv. Salemane Phafane KC, will seek re-election, despite having declared four years ago that he would not run for another term. However, his recent election to FIFA committees, where he is set to serve for another four-year term strongly suggests that he may be considering another run for the presidency. ⚽⚽⚽🇱🇸
