Kano COEASU Disowns ASUU Members Over Alleged Misconduct The College of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) at the newly upgraded Kano University of Education has disowned some staff claiming to be members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). COEASU Chairman, Ado Muhammad Abdullahi, told journalists in Kano that the individuals are not recognised by the institution and described them as “troublemakers.” The group has petitioned the Minister of Education, demanding the removal of the university’s Governing Council Chairman and Acting Vice Chancellor. #coeasu #asuu
