*UniPort To confer honourary Doctorate on Wike* The University of Port Harcourt is set to confer an Honorary Doctor of Science (DSc. Honoris Causa) on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Nyesom Wike. The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Owunari Georgewill who stated this during a courtesy visit to Wike in Abuja said the minister who is also an alumnus of the institution will receive the award as part of activities marking the institution's 50th anniversary, during which distinguished alumni who had rendered exceptional services to society will be honoured. The Vice Chancellor noted that Wike has consistently made meaningful impact on national development to the execution of important projects.
