*Federal High Court Grants Natasha N50 million Bail* The suspended Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has been arraigned, at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja for allegedly defaming the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio and former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Adosa Bello. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, was arraigned on three-count criminal charges bordering on harmful imputations during a television interview. In a ruling, Justice Justice Chizoba Orji said the alleged offence was not a capital one and that the law presumes Natasha innocent for now. Senator Natasha was granted a bail of N50 million and one surety in the like sum. The case was adjourned to September 23, 2025.
